CITY WALK

City Walk — a district where life buzzes right under the windows: Sheikh Zayed Road, restaurants, boutiques. The client bought the apartment ahead of a new addition to the family. The task: finish a cosy home before the birth, ready to move into with a newborn straight away.

Over 5 months we transformed the apartment: the father has his own soundproofed study, and the nursery is designed years ahead around the child's future needs. The parents' bedroom — in warm tones and layered lighting. The living room stayed grown-up: for friends, family dinners and celebrations.

And it's a home to grow into: today there's a cot in the nursery, in a couple of years a bed and a play area will appear — the layout is ready for it. The home grows together with the family.
