When you work from home, an apartment stops being just an apartment: it's an office, a place of power and a retreat — all within the same walls. Our clients — a young, vivid couple a minute from the Burj Khalifa — spend most of the day at home. So the main requirement was something you can't see in photos: the indoor climate.

We began with the engineering: fresh air, zoned climate, humidity control and air purification using the most modern methods. The result — breathing at home is easier than in a pine forest. Then the layout for remote work: work zones that don't compete with each other, and a clear line between the working and living halves of the day, so that in the evening the monitors switch off and the home turns into a space to rest.

The interior was built around the owners' character — energetic, with accents of the Burj Khalifa's glass and steel. The UAE's greatest achievement a minute away, in the very epicentre of a global city.
